If you have a question about a symbol which doesn’t appear on our list, please send an email to: [email protected] The fact that a particular agency does not appear on this list does not imply that the cRc has determined it to be substandard.
Please note that determining the acceptability of a kashrus agency is a complicated and difficult process, requiring much time and research. For further details, please see Understanding the Reliability of Kosher Agencies, by Rabbi Sholem Fishbane. The cRc keeps strictly to halachic/kashrus criteria alone in making these recommendations, in keeping with our adherence to Torah values.

Note: There are four areas of kashrus that require extra diligence and research even when bearing a recommended kosher symbol. These four areas are: bagged vegetables which need to be checked for insects, meat, Pesach hotels, and cruises.

Recommended - The cRc only recommends products or establishments actually directly certified by the KLBD with their kosher symbol on the product or current establishment certificate.
