Wheat Straw

Q. Are utensils made of wheat straw a problem for use on Pesach?

A. You can use them. The simple reason is that wheat berries/kernels can become chametz, but the straw part of the wheat plant cannot. Additionally, a plate or other item made from what straw is inedible, and that obviates any possible chametz concern.
