Q. I have a fleishig pot which has not been used for over 24 hours, and I want to cook a pareve soup in it, and then pour it into milchig dishes where I'll add sour cream. Is that permitted?


A. No. Since the pot is fleishig, one may not cook soup in it with intention of then adding dairy items into it.
