Tequila

Products listed as Certified are preferable to those listed as Acceptable. Unflavored Tequila may be used without hashgacha provided that it is made from 100% agave and is CRT approved (with the exception of those products which state on the label or company website that they were aged or finished in sherry or other wine casks). Due to the possibility that non-kosher glycerin may be used in aged Tequila (such as Anejo and Reposado), it is advisable to only utilize aged Tequila with a reliable hechsher. Flavored Tequila, Rosa Tequila, Cristalino, and Mezcal requires a reliable hechsher.
